Eriogonum fasciculatum

Eriogonum fasciculatum, California Buckwheat, a very common but beautiful native shrub, grows all over the state..There are many varieties, from the foothills of the Sierras to the coast, the Chaparral varieties getting to be 4' x 5', while the more coastal varieties will grow to 1' x 4'.  The flowers turn from white to pink to rust over summer/fall
