Eriogonum crocatum, Conejo Buckwheat, or Saffron Buckwheat, originally from Ventura county, is a gorgeous rare buckwheat in that it has yellow blooms that fade to rust..very odd. Grows to 1' tall by 2' wide. Will handle frost down to 15 degrees.
