Cercidium floridum 'desert museum'

Cercidium floridum, a deciduous desert tree, called Blue Palo Verde, has a distinct light green trunk, fern-like foliage (almost like green feathers), and gorgeous yellow flowers that bloom and carpet the earth like a yellow carpet. Very heat and drought-tolerant.
